At Riverview Plantation, our expert guides – most of whom work year-round at our plantation – will provide the ultimate bobwhite quail expedition – including up to two shoots per day. And all birds harvested will be cleaned and packaged for your convenience. Start the Day Right
Following a sumptuous breakfast, a year-round Riverview employee – complete with six to eight spirited dogs – will greet your group. Our kennels boast more than 200 pointers and setters, along with more than 40 English cocker spaniels. Over a three-hour shoot, you will ride over the terrain in a specially designed Jeep that offers the perfect view of the dogs as they scent coveys and singles.

Recharge in Style
After the morning shoot, you’ll return to our magnificent lodge, where you’ll eat a fantastic lunch and take a short rest. Your afternoon hunt – over a different course – begins around 2 p.m. and will also last about three hours.

You’ll return to the lodge for dinner in your private dining room, where you’ll enjoy mouth-watering Southern cuisine including sizzling catfish and hushpuppies, ribeye steaks, homemade soups, luscious pecan pie and bobwhite quail prepared the Riverview Plantation way. We also offer a sizeable stock of beverages, including a wide selection of wines with your dinner.

Relax by the fire with an after-dinner cordial or cocktail, talk over an incredible day’s hunt with your family, friends, and/or colleagues – and look forward to a refreshing night’s sleep in your own room. There are no dual occupancy rooms at Riverview, and you will relish your night’s stay in resort-level surroundings.
